Dislocations

In Dislocazioni, the same instant is repeated several times with different characteristics. The images are the product of the overlapping of several not coinciding visions, the same object observed from different points of space and time. Each image comes to life from a photograph (taken in the studio) disassembled and reassembled with different fading. Looking carefully, turning the picture in one’s mind, one can understand the position of the components (objects or models) that modify their own reality by hiding, sometimes in surreal overlaps. Shape, stroke, art and color elude the environment and suddenly emerge, seemingly without representing it, as everyone’s eyes would want. The image takes the shape of a Form not real and to the common perception emulates its own truth with a formal Essence recounted in a sensorial guise, an ideal structure that protrudes from the conscious vision of nature.
